I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ottawa, Canada, in 2003 and completed my internship at Psychiatry for Children and Youth.

For the last 20 years, I have been working in Quebec, Canada, as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, completing diagnostic and comprehensive psychological assessments, group and individual therapy. I have experience in all the areas of psychological disorders, including anxiety and mood disorders, behavioral disorders (including ADHD, ODD and conduct disorder), Tourette disorder, neurodevelopmental disabilities (including ASD and intellectual disabilities), and complex-trauma and attachment disorders. Over the years, I specialized in the assessment of personality profiles and affective functioning, with a large range of assessment strategies.

For the last 5 years, I have focused on the treatment of mood-dysregulation, self-harm and Borderline Personality Disorders (BPD), in children and adolescents. All interventions are integrative and driven by the practices of Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mentalization-based therapy (MBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), good psychiatric management (GPM), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My goal is to provide the best evidence-based treatment possible, according to the need of each person. I love group work and look forward to developing DBT treatment groups at KMC.

While the majority of my training and professional path has been with children and adolescents, I enjoy the opportunity to work with parents, including competencies oriented DBT group, family interventions and consultation. Working with individuals throughout the life span helps me to keep an integrated perspective on developmental issues. As such, I look forward to serving adults with mood-disorders, dysregulation difficulties and personality issues, in addition to providing parent training.

As a psychologist, I am collaborative, committed to defining specific goals for a personalized and comprehensive treatment plan, as well as integrating other professionals as needed. I desire for my patients to achieve improvements and find equilibrium in their needs so they feel empowered in their life. I am caring, considerate and I like to integrate humor in my interventions. I can also serve French-speaking clients.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), of the Society for Personality Assessment (SPA) and the International Society of the Rorschach and Projective Methods (ISRPM).

I am eager to begin serving Floridians.
