I completed my Psy.D in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. With an emphasis in children and adolescents, I specialize in providing high-quality treatment to children, teens, young adults, adults, and families. I have experience working with a wide range of behavioral and emotional problems including: depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trichotillomania, excoriation, ADHD, relationship difficulties, school related issues, family conflict, parenting challenges, trauma and adjustment related concerns. I provide treatment using evidence-based practices and assessment. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and pull from theories such as Adlerian, Family Systems and Attachment. This ensures the provision of care from a wholistic perspective. My goal is to help clients and their loved ones gain a greater understanding of themselves, improve their relationships, and develop coping skills that will help them navigate life’s various stressors.

I completed my post-doctoral fellowship at Katie Merricks Counseling, LLC. During this time, I was extensively trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). I had the pleasure of working with individuals across the lifespan in an outpatient setting. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Centerstone Community Mental Health in Bradenton, Florida. During this time, I worked with children, adolescent and families through the provision of care on an outpatient basis. Additionally, I had the opportunity to further my skills related to assessing and diagnosing mental health disorders. Prior to internship, I completed clinical training at Advocate Christ Hospital where I conducted crisis intakes and provided psychotherapy to children and families within a multidisciplinary setting. At Hargrove Behavioral Hospital, I became well versed in cognitive, academic, and social-emotional testing. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a case manager for DCFS in Largo, Florida. This experience allowed me to gain a deeper perspective on social work and has enabled me to better support children and families in need.

As a clinician, I work diligently to provide my clients with tailored treatments by collaborating with any providers, therapists, physicians, and family members. I am dedicated to staying abreast on current research in the field and their best practices to ensure evidence-based interventions to my patients and their families. I aim to integrate my sense of humor, compassion, and clinical skills to create a place of growth for the clients I serve.
